Dear Editor,
I would like to commend HBTV Channel 9 for their continuous efforts at educating the nation. I am specifically referring to their airing of Minister Louis Farrakhan’s messages.
These messages are very educational and uplifting, especially to African people. However, I do know that people of other races embrace the messages, which is excellent to see.
As a young African male, Mr Farrakhan’s words have added to my life over the years. My wish is that the other endangered species, ie young, heterosexual, positive, looking-out-for-their-people African males will not only listen but apply the teachings to their life.
My young brothers and sisters, for just one hour a day, should turn off the nonsensical rap music videos and listen to some truth.
Keep up the good work Channel 9.
Yours faithfully,
Monty Chester
