Heads of Guyana’s missions and foreign service will meet here from tomorrow to discuss the outcomes and directions of national interest being articulated in foreign countries, capitals and Guyana’s contributions to international relations.
This is according to Head of the Presidential Secretariat Dr Roger Luncheon, speaking at his post-Cabinet press briefing held yesterday at the Office of the President.
The exercise will be held at the Guyana International Conference Centre (GICC), Liliendaal and will end on Friday.
“During the week-long proceedings, the diplomats and the heads from across the globe will be engaged in in-depth engagements with the administration and stakeholders where focus will be placed on the examination of the outcomes of national interest being sought in foreign countries and, as usual Guyana’s contribution to international relations,” the HPS said.
He noted that President Donald Ramotar will address the opening session after which the business sessions will continue for three days. This will be followed by a wrap-up session with Cabinet Ministers on Friday.
