EZjet has announced that flights to Toronto, Canada will begin on July 17, 2012.
In advertisements in yesterday’s newspapers, EZjet announced its inaugural special on July 17th and 24th. It listed the fares as US$650 return and US$375 one way, all taxes inclusive.
Passengers will be allowed two bags of 60 lbs each and a carry on of 22 lbs.
Flights depart Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Timehri at 3.30 pm and arrive at Pearson International Airport at 10 pm. It then departs Toronto at 11.45 pm on the same day and arrives in Guyana at 5.15 am the following day.
The airline started operating a Boeing 767 aircraft on weekly flights between Guyana and JFK airport in New York in December last year and has since expanded. Its President is Guyanese Sonny Ramdeo.
