Andre Huntley, a 23-year-old seasonal labourer, of Bent Street, Wortmanville, was yesterday brought before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton, and charged with possession of narcotics.
It was alleged that on July 4, two grammes of cannabis were found on his person, at the Brickdam Police Station.
Huntley, unrepresented, pleaded not guilty and applied for bail. The prosecution made no objection to bail, and it was posted at $30,000.
The trial is scheduled for July 25th, 2012 in Court One.
