Twenty-four children get there eyes tested from the Wismar Visually Impaired Unit

Twenty-four children, between the ages of five and 18, from the Wismar Visually Impaired Unit, were yesterday tested and prescribed with eyeglasses at Dr. Karen Persram’s clinic on Quamina Street. The charitable endeavour was a collaborative effort between the United Women for Special Children and Doctor Persram and her staff, with VIP Restaurant co-sponsoring lunches for the children and the accompanying adults.
