The National Community Basketball League (NCBL) continues this weekend after a short break from the tournament to accommodate the international all-star weekend.
Five teams will this afternoon battle for spots in the quarter and semi-finals today and tomorrow.
Today’s quarter-finals will be played at the Mackenzie Sports Club hard court in Linden and will see Central Mackenzie opposing Kwakwani at 7pm.
Tomorrow, in the first semi final at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Wismar will take on Plaisance/Vryheid’s Lust while in the second game of the night the winner of Kwakwani/Central Mackenzie clash will take on Mc Doom/Diamond.
Admission for both games will be $1000 entrance fee.
The finals will take place next Sunday and should be a best of three affair.
