Texila American University says it will be formally applying to the National Accrediting Council (NAC) to have its two-year Associate of Arts degree programme approved in Guyana.
According to a press release of July 9, Texila American University – Center for American Education (TAU-CAE) and Broward College (BC) based in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., USA, have established a collaborative arrangement and will begin offering the two-year Associate of Arts degree in September this year.
The Texila American University offers full-time programmes covering subjects at the degree level, including Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programmes on its campus.
As an academic affiliate of Broward College, it will conduct the Associate of Arts degree in Guyana.
The programme will enable students to earn the AA in two years after meeting English language proficiency requirements.
