National School Basketball Festival (NSBF) 2012 champions, Kwakwani, made good their debut on the international scene in Antigua last Monday with a 76-72 win over Clarehall Secondary of Antigua.
The team made a hot start to their campaign with good shooting and team basketball as the NSBF final’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) demolished the opposition with brilliant play as he scored a game high 38 points.
Leonard Primo contributed a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds while Joseph Gilkes had an all-round game and was a force on defence with 10 points, seven rebounds and three blocks.
