Dear Editor,
Allow me first of all to express my sympathy and condolences to the fellow Guyanese who were either killed or injured during last Thursday’s peaceful demonstrations in Linden.
We cannot allow last Wednesday’s police interventions and killings to daunt our spirits and will to use both parliamentary and extra-parliamentary measures and militancy to express our displeasure with the PPP/C’s determination to impose its dictatorial desires on the Guyanese society.
I am further calling for the prosecution of the police officers who were involved in last Thursday’s killings and injuries.
