The ANSA McAl management will be looking to tip off their Makeson Smooth Moves 3-on-3 basketball tournament on August 4th at venues around Guyana.
According to Public Relations Officer of ANSA McAL, Darshnee Yusuf, entries for the second edition of the tournament have been steadily coming in while the organizers are in the process of pinpointing specific venues for the tournament.
The tournament will be decentralized a bit more this year according to Yusuf as some of the new places scheduled to hold the tournament will be Enmore, Uitvlugt and Den Amstel.
“We are looking to go to as many communities as possible so that we can expand the tournament,” Yusuf told Stabroek Sport when contacted.
While no specific number of teams already registered was given to Stabroek Sport, registration boxes are located at popular barbershops, sports bars and ANSA McAL head office.
