It has been confirmed that the funeral for the three men who were killed by police during a protest in Linden on July 18th, 2012 will take place on Wednesday, August 1, 2012.
This was confirmed by the mother of one of the victims, Ron Somerset this morning and Pastor Morris McKinnon who is integrally involved in the arrangements. The others who died were Shemroy Bouyea and Allan Lewis.
A service for the three men will be held at the Wismar end of the main bridge linking Wismar and Mackenzie from 2pm and burial will be at the Bamia Cemetery.
Pastor McKinnon said that all the logistics including passage through blocked roads are being put in place.
