After two rounds of matches Team Rum leads the 2012 Sharpshooters Paintball competition which is being held at the Timehri Rifle ranges.
Team Rum has 64 points followed by Gizmos and EarthLink with 58 and 39 points respectively. The tournament started on Sunday.
According to a press release from the Sharpshooters Paintball club, 10 teams are contesting the round robin competition.
The other teams are: Assassins, Rebels, XXX and Bope BR, Splat, Brazilians and Black Ops.
The three-week competition continues on Sunday with another round of matches. The team that accumulates the most points will walk away with the championship trophy and medals. Medals and trophies will also be awarded to the second and third place finishers as well as the three outstanding players.
The competition has attracted sponsorship Bass Tracker Outdoor Supplies, PowerAde, Banks DIH, Digicel and Gizmos and Gadgets.
