Sherwin Bobb, who had been on the run after escaping from police custody in the Camp Street Prison, was on Thursday remanded back to prison.
Bobb29, with a last known address of Swan Street, Pouderoyen, appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court charged with escaping from lawful custody.
The charge stated that Bobb, while being confined in the Georgetown Prison at Camp Street for the criminal charge of trafficking in narcotics, escaped from the lawful custody of the said place on June 27.
