The Guyana Cycling Federation (GCF) Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was previously postponed will now be held this Saturday at the Guyana Olympic Association building.
The AGM which will commence at 14:30 hrs will deal with the submission of club reports and areas in which to improve the running of the federation.
On Saturday last just before the commencement of the ninth annual Geddes Grant 11-race cycling programme in the inner circuit of the National Park, Mark Sonaram was elected the cyclists representative on the federation one of the pre-requisites for the federation’s AGM.
Clubs are also reminded to submit all outstanding reports while cyclists are also reminded that they will no longer be allowed to participate in races sanctioned by the GCF if they are not wearing the prescribed and appropriate uniforms.
Elections to select the next executive body of the GCF will be held in 2014.
