Leader of the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR), Brigadier David Granger has expressed his sadness on the death of international civil servant Hugh Cholmondeley who passed away on Friday August 10th.
Granger expressed his condolences to Cholmondeley’s widow, Marie Ann and his children who include Member of Parliament (MP) Catherine Hughes the PNCR said in a press release yesterday.
Cholmondeley was described in the release as a well-known and respected broadcasting executive who held various international appointments with the United Nations and the Caribbean Community.
The release also noted that Cholomondeley also participated in the arrangements surrounding the ‘Herdmanston Accord’ which brought an end to the post 1997 elections unrest.
