Regional Chairman Sharma Solomon this morning told Stabroek News that he was unaware of the Head of State’s visit to the mining town.
“I was not informed; I was unaware,” Solomon told this newspaper when contacted about the visit.
Solomon is in Georgetown while Ramotar is in Linden and he said he only learnt of the visit from citizens who had observed the president’s entourage heading to Linden. He said he is in Georgetown to finalise the proposals that would be made at the scheduled meeting this afternoon at Office of the President,
