Dear Editor,
So the Olympic games are over and those players and gymnasts who won medals – gold, silver, and bronze – must be congratulated for their fine and disciplined performances (I understand India took all the aluminium), maybe Bisram can comment.
When I learned that Britain will host the 2012 Olympics, I looked forward to the opening. I knew it would not be Asian, American or Australian; it would be pure British, and I was not disappointed; the British did their thing as only they know how.
Even Her Majesty got involved.
The opening of the world games was really spectacular.
Yours faithfully,
W P George
