Dear Editor,
I am wondering if President Ramotar’s grandstanding is not contributing to the deteriorating situation in Linden, Guyana. As a committed Guyanese, I have to be concerned about the stand-off and further loss of human and material resources that Mr Ramotar’s stubborn postures could cause.
Editor, I am just as concerned about Mr Ramotar’s repeated declarations that he is going to stand by his cabinet ministers even in the light of (for example) calls for the resignation of Minister Rohee. I always thought that the whole (the voices of the Guyanese people) was greater than the part (Mr Ramotar’s cabinet ministers).
Yours faithfully,
Morris Wilson
