The inform Troy Cadogan, Ansa Mc Al Trading Marketing Director, will attempt to add the Carib Beer Medal Play Golf title to his collection when the tournament is played Saturday at the Lusignan Golf Course.
Cadogan, who was edged out into third place in last weekend’s tournament, will be looking to turn back the challenge of a strong field of players in what is anticipated to be a fierce competition.
Also among the front runners will be Alfred Mentore, who is aiming to shine at the Guyana Open this year; the consistent Mohanlall “Santo” Dinnanauth, Chatterpaul Deo, John Tracey and William Walker.
Other leading contenders are Patrick Prashad, Jerome Khan, Clifford Reis, Mark Lashley, Gavin Todd, Andre Cummings, Joaan Deo, Christine Sukhram, Carlos Adams, Dr. Ram Singh, Fazil Deo, Muntaz Hannif, Rawle Moore, Brian Hackett, Brian Glasford, Kishun Bacchus, Mike Mangal and Mike Guyadin.
Carib Beer Coordinator Nigel Worrell and Ansa McAl Public Relations Officer Darshanie Yussuf, will lead a team of well wishers from the company and will later assist in the presentation of prizes at the end of the tournament.
Prizes will be presented to the first, second and third placed finishers (Net Scores), Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Best Gross.
Tee off is at 12:30 hours.
Meantime, registration has started for the President’s Cup tournament scheduled for September 16 at the Lusignan Course where both local and foreign players will square off for top honours.
