A man was yesterday accused of attempting to obstruct the course of justice by offering another man money for withholding information from the police.
Rameez Mohammed, 24, of Lot 174 Happy Acres, East Coast Demerara, was yesterday granted $120,000 bail, after he was charged at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
It is alleged that on August 23, Mohammed wilfully attempted to obstruct the course of justice in that he contacted Mohammed Ali and offered to cover his expenses if he withheld information from the police as to how he received a vehicle, GJJ 9390,
