(Barbados Nation) The head honcho of the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) is concerned about the lack of discipline in the game at the local level.
And Joel “Big Bird” Garner, the outstanding former Barbados and West Indies fast bowler, who has been president of the BCA since 2007, wants the issue to be tackled.
In his report to members at the BCA’s annual general meeting a month ago, a frank Garner bowled a yorker on disciplinary matters that affect the sport.
“While it recognizes that there is immeasurable talent within the ranks of every age group, the BCA must also be cognizant that indiscipline is a problem which has to be addressed at all levels,” Garner said.
