(Jamaica Gleaner) Suzan Smith, the woman charged with the murder of her sister in Portmore, St. Catherine was this morning remanded, when she appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate’s Court.
The case was also put off until October 2.
The deceased woman Stacey Ann Smith was found dead in Portsmouth in Portmore, St Catherine in February.
It is alleged that the women had an argument and Suzan used a blunt object to hit Stacey Ann on the head.
It’s further reported that Stacy Ann died as a result of the injury.
Her sister then reportedly buried her body in a section of the house which was under construction.
Residents complained about smelling a odour coming from the house and summoned the police.
Her sister was taken into custody and later charged with murder after the woman’s body was found buried in concrete.
