The police say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of labourer Madan Ramkirat, called “Pencil”, 25 years of Grant 1805 Crabwood Creek, Corentyne.
At about 0700h yesterday, Ramkirat’s partially burnt body was found on a farm at Tiger Creek, Corentyne River, with a suspected gunshot injury to the chest. A post-mortem examination is to be done shortly.
Three men have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
