(Jamaica Observer) KINGSTON, Jamaica — Yohan Blake won the men’s 200m today in 19.54, from training partner, Jason Young in19.92 at the Brussels Diamond League.
Frenchman Christophe Lemaitre was third in 20.17, preventing a Jamaican sweep by denying third to Olympic bronze medalist Warren Weir (20.22).
It was at this meet last year that Blake signaled his arrival in the 200m when he ran 19.21, still the second fastest time ever recorded over the distance.
