Shondell Smith, a salesgirl, was yesterday accused of stealing over $200,000 from her employer’s safe.
Smith, 28, of Timehri, pleaded not guilty when she appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, where she was placed on $75,000 bail. It is alleged that Smith, between September 1 and 4, stole the sum of $210,000, which was property of her employer, Sharon Letlow.
