Quick response from the Guyana Power and Light (GPL) yesterday saw the termite infested lantern post near NP Electronics on Robb Street, being supported by another post which was strapped to the decaying one. GPL’s action came after persons in the area complained and this newspaper published a photograph and caption in yesterday’s edition about the danger of the post, which holds two transformers.
