The Scotia bank/Pepsi All Stars female football team will play their first practice game this afternoon at the Georgetown Football Club ground against a GFC U11/13 boy’s team from 4.30pm.
The team, which is being coached by Joseph Wilson assisted by Andra Fredericks, has been training since July on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
The team will also oppose a West Demerara female team at the Den Amstel Ground from 4pm on Saturday.
The team is preparing for the GFF Women League which is scheduled to commence soon.
Meanwhile, the sponsors, DDL (Pepsi) and Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank) will donate a set of uniforms (tops, trunks and socks) to the team this afternoon at 4.30pm.
