Dear Editor,
A little girl named Shaffiya Jamaluddin died, through no fault of her own, in a horrific vehicular accident which also took the life of Henry Greene. She was ten years old.
I hope her young life was celebrated when the people who loved her, let her go. Perhaps they spoke about how much she enriched their lives. What hopes they had for her and she for herself. We will never know about Shaffiya. She wasn’t important enough to be newsworthy. No accolades featured on the front pages of the newspapers, no recordings of grieving relatives worthy of prime time news.
My sympathies to her family for the loss of this little angel.
Yours faithfully
Nadia Sagar
