The National Milling Company of Guyana Inc. (NAMILCO) has donated $1M to help in the rebuilding of the St Joseph’s Mercy Hospital, after the fire that destroyed Colonna House two years ago, according to a statement released yesterday by Vic Insanally. The hospital is currently improving the patient-rooms and doctors’ offices, putting in a second operating room, an inpatient pharmacy, expanding its High Dependency Unity/Intensive Care Unit facility, the statement added.
