DHAKA, Bangladesh, CMC – Coach of the Sagicor High Performance Centre team Graeme West said his side will face a bigger challenge, when they meet the Bangladesh A-Team in a four-day, tour match, starting today at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium.
West says the Bangladesh A-Team has far more experienced than the BCB Academy team and therefore his side would have to lift their game another notch to remain competitive.
“We have had a little look at the opposition, and there are over 400 international matches in terms of experience between them,” West said. “They will be a far more experienced side and I am sure this will come across in the way they play, but it represents a great opportunity for our guys to perform against these players.”
HPC, pushing for an outright victory against BCH in their rain affected match, had to settle for a tense draw on Wednesday leaving the players disappointed.
