The Leo Club of South Georgetown celebrated its 10th anniversary by making a number of donations to needy families in its community. According to a press release on September 18 members hosted a church service at the Trinity Methodist church; donated school supplies to three Grade Two students and launched its mentorship programme with the said children. On September 19 members interacted with persons from the society for the blind; on September 20 the club hosted its meal-on-wheels programme to benefit indigent persons in the Bourda Market area and on September 22 it hosted an anniversary cocktail reception.
