Police say that at about 2305h last night, Leon Clarke, 18 years of West La Penitence, Georgetown, was confronted by six men armed with cutlasses on a bridge in the vicinity of Eastern Highway, Sophia. The attackers took away his motor cycle and a gold chain and escaped.
A report was made to the police and ranks of a mobile patrol that responded saw two men with the motorcycle in the Sophia area. They were arrested and are in police custody. Charges will be made shortly, police said.
