Twenty four under-19 footballers have been invited to participate in a two days of trial matches with a view to representing Guyana at this year’s Inter Guiana games. According to a press release from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, the footballers will participate in trial games on Saturday and Sunday at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Complex ground, (formerly the Guyana National Service ground) from 9am on Saturday. Former Pele and Guyana captain Gordon `The Ultimate Warrior’ Braithwaite will be in charge of the trials. The 24 players shortlisted for the trials are:-Jovano Dos Santos, Kimba Braithwaite, Simon Emanuel, Dwayne Lindie, Devon James, McCord Crammer, Quame Gordon, Dorwin Percy, Malcolm Wilson, Cornel Romain,Joshua Brown, Julian Joseph, Dwayne Layne,Seon Semple, Keon Douglas,Romel Eudoxie,Keith Fletcher, Randolph Wagner, Nickel Fraser, Eon Parks, melon Wills, Tyson McNauth,Dicquan Van Cooten, Shaquille Brown,Colwyn David. Following the trials a final selection of 15 players will be made.
