-contract signing today
The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, will today at 3pm sign a contract to add a Resource Centre to the National Racquet Centre on Woolford Avenue.
The Racquet Centre, which also has outdoor lawn tennis courts, is said to be the first of its kind in the Caribbean.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Dr. Frank Anthony is expected to attend the contract signing of the centre which is expected to hold various records and information.
Since its opening in 2011, the National Racquet Centre has already staged at least one Caribbean championships in addition to other engagements.
