Doran Keith James, the father of four who died by accident at Diamond, East Bank Demerara, on Thursday, died of a fractured skull and a perforated lung the post-mortem examination results revealed.
His mother, Salome Williams, said the driver of the car was placed on bail yesterday.
James, 23, of Adventure, Soesdyke/Linden Highway was a passenger in the car when it collided with a bridge. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Diamond Diagnostic Centre.
James’s mother had said that she last spoke to her son earlier in the morning when he called her and told her to cook lunch for him. However, he never returned for his lunch.
