The West Demerara/East Bank Essequibo Chamber of Commerce and Industry is hosting its first statutory meeting tomorrow, following the election of a new executive last month.
According to a press release, the new executive comprises Sase Shewnarain of Aracari Resort, chairman; Ramesh Sugrim of Shell Gas Station, vice chairman; Reyaz Husain of Fatboy Discount Store, secretary and Safraz A Khan of Chester Fries, treasurer.
The committee members are Vijay Chand of Parika Sawmills, Bhaijnauth of Land View Liquor and Restaurant; A Boodhoo of Boodhoo’s Hardware; Andy De Jesus of Chester Fries, Bhupaul Panday of Norpan Auto Sales and A&S Variety Store; Harry Rambhola of Double Day Hotel and S Ally.
All business owners of the West Demerara/East Bank Essequibo areas including the Essequibo Islands are invited to Wednesday’s meeting at 5 pm at the Aracari Resort.
