Dear Editor,
Your October 9th edition reported that 18 persons have been killed in 28 days – less than a month – your report covers this month and last month and we all know in the past three or four years we have had so many killings and other horrible incidents.
Bandits killing householders and fishermen, villager killing villager, youth killing youth etc.
Why in a land of less than one million people we have so much of killing.
Have we as a nation become demon possessed?
It seems as though people in the churches and other social organizations are afraid to examine this killing spree.
Surely something is horribly wrong, maybe a behavioural scientist can examine what has gone wrong, we can’t go on like this.
Yours faithfully,
W P George
