Western Tigers won the inaugural Karibee Rice knockout football competition when they defeated Rosignol United in the final on Sunday at the GFC Ground, Bourda.
Western Tigers edged out Rosignol United by a 2-1 margin with Phillip Rowley and Sherman David scoring for the winners in the first and 64th minutes.
Sherwin Ceaser managed to pull one back for Rosignol United in the 80th minute.
Pele defeated Monedderlust 3-0 in the third place play off with Stellon David in the 21st minute, Dirk Archer in the 54th minute and Jamal Cozier in the 60th minute, the goal scorers.
Western Tigers also walked away with the two individual prizes after Rowley was adjudged the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Romel Legal the best goalkeeper.
