Dear Editor,
Since the establishment of the Tuschen New Housing Scheme, the junction at the Public road has been in confusion for motorists and pedestrians every day, especially in the morning and sometimes accidents occur. Letters and news articles have been published and to date there is no remedy to this situation. I am wondering if the police are waiting for someone’s life to be lost there before a solution is found. Editor, all that is required is a police officer’s presence there at the busy hours to monitor the traffic, because there are taxi and minibus drivers that do madness so that people’s lives will always be at risk.
I must commend the traffic officers for their occasional presence on the public roads where Government schools are located and wish they could be there more regularly. Again, I am suggesting that the Neighbourhood Officers be placed there instead of the police officers, because to date I still waiting to see the results of their existence.
