GBTI Annual Impromptu Speech Competition
The Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI) says St Joseph High School is the first to advance to the second round in its Annual Impromptu Speech Competition for Secondary Schools which started on Tuesday.
St Joseph, the defending champions, earned 622 points in its match against the West Demerara Secondary. Its student, James Grant was chosen as the Best Speaker of that match for his presentation on the topic ‘Computers are more beneficial to education than books.’ In the second round Mae’s Secondary School won with 694 points against School
