The police say they are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 1300h today at Agriculture Road, Triumph, ECD, and which resulted in the death of pedestrian Ezekiel Harris, 7 years, of South Vryheid’s Lust, ECD.
Police say that investigations so far have revealed that the driver of motor car PHH 8344 was proceeding along the roadway when it is alleged that Harris attempted to cross the road from behind a parked motor lorry and was struck down. He was pronounced DOA at the GPHC.
The driver of the motor car is in police custody assisting with the investigations, the police said.
