Justices Naresh Harnanan, Sandra Kurtzious and Navindra Singh took the oath before President Donald Ramotar today as newly appointed puisine judges, GINA reported.
GINA said it is hoped that the three judges will be of some help in reducing the challenges of inadequate number of jurists and the backlog of cases which the judiciary has been facing.
President Donald Ramotar in brief remarks expressed the hope that the new appointments will also have a profound impact on court cases since “justice delayed is justice denied.”
