Bamia Bridge under erosion threat: A visit to the Bamia creek reveals a scary sight from beneath the Bamia Bridge. The soil under the bridge has eroded extensively. Persons residing at the creek say the erosion started more than two weeks ago and the local authority has been informed. They said that every time it rains the erosion worsens and they fear that the bridge will collapse soon if not addressed immediately. Efforts to contact IMC Chairman Orin Gordon yesterday proved futile. The area/creek falls under the management of the Linden Municipality.
