Dear Editor,
If Guyana has a democratic government then it time for the President to appoint an Ombudsman if he believes in fair play and justice. As one writer said, the Ombudsman is the poor man‘s lawyer. It is years now since Mr Y S Mohamed retired, and there are many retired judges who could fill the vacancy.
