Robeson Benn Jnr. was stabbed on Saturday night after a fight with a young woman.
Benn Jnr is currently a patient of the High Dependency Unit (HDU) of the Georgetown Hospital, where his condition is listed as stable but critical, according to hospital officials.
The stabbing took place at a private residence after an argument between Benn Jnr and the woman. He was stabbed once to the abdomen, allegedly by the woman.
Stabroek News was told that a report of the assault was made to police by the woman. When contacted, Crime Chief Seelall Persaud said that he was unaware of the matter.
