A man destined for an interior location was yesterday found with over 1 kilogramme of marijuana in the soles of three pairs of boots he had in his possession.
Police Public Relations and Press Officer Whitney Bacchus stated that the man, who was destined for Imbaimadai, Mazaruni, in Region 7, was stopped and searched at the Ogle Airport by police ranks some time around 11:20 am yesterday. The search unearthed the drug stashed in three pair of boots he had in his possession.
Police said that man was arrested and charges will be laid shortly.
