Rain last weekend marred the first round of the inaugural Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) Hadi’s World Incorporated first division two day cricket competition which saw three centuries being scored on the first day but finished with two draws because of the weather.
At Thomas Lands in a game delayed by rain, the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) batted first and posted 252-5 declared from 60 overs with openers
Jeetendra Sookdeo and Robin Bacchus putting on 98 before Orin Forde had Bacchus lbw for 53 from just 67 balls.
