The British High Commission yesterday announced the opening of a trade and investment office in Guyana which will also service Suriname.
A statement from the high commission said that the move was in keeping with the United Kingdom’s strategy to up its presence in “key growth markets”.
The office opened on Monday and will provide support to UK companies that wish to conduct business in Guyana and Suriname and guide local businesspersons seeking to invest in the UK.
