(Jamaica Gleaner) It was a marathon session this morning when the judges of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) sat for a preliminary case management hearing in the Shanique Myrie case.
Shanique Myrie has taken the Barbadian Government to the CCJ on allegations that she was sexually assaulted by an immigration officer last year.
Her attorney, Michelle Brown said a number of orders were made and a final case management hearing has been set for December 12.
She said the court is looking at the end of February to mid-March as possible trial dates.
She said Browne is also requesting that her witnesses be allowed to testify via video link to save cost.
