A 32-year-old taxi driver died last night after he was stabbed by bandits he had trailed from his Cummings Lodge home.
Relatives of Omar Harper today said that he died before 9 last night after he suffered a single stab wound to his abdomen from one of three bandits he had chased with his car.
They said a female resident had approached the man as he washed his car in front of his home and told him she had just been robbed of a cell phone by two bandits. He immediately jumped into his car and went after them. He later came out on foot and gave chase and was stabbed by one of the bandits.
One of the three bandits, whose name Harper called as he was being taken to the hospital, was later cornered in a house two streets way from the man’s Cummings Lodge home and arrested by the police.
